The SPARK TOURIST possesses the traits of a road bike, featuring a mountain bike's 27.5-inch wheel diameter and flat handlebars. The SPARK TOURIST is compatible with both mountain and road bicycle drivetrains. It can accommodate the installation of direct-mount road front derailleurs as well as side-pull mountain front derailleurs. It is compatible with the installation of up to a 50T road cassette, and it also supports the installation of single or double mountain bike chainrings. The maximum tire size it can accommodate is 27.5"×2.0".

The geometry of the SPARK TOURIST is more akin to that of a comfort-oriented road bike. Since there is no need to consider off-road performance, it features a shorter REACH and an increased head tube angle. This makes the SPARK TOURIST, despite its mountain bike appearance, offer a riding experience akin to that of a road bike.
